Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Collins, III, age 56

Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Collins, III, age 56 of Mooresboro, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015.

Frank was born on July 30, 1959 in Rutherford County, and was a son of the late Benjamin F. Collins, II, and Sophie Anne Hicks Collins. He worked as a truck driver for W & B Trucking in Kings Mountain and formerly worked with his family at Collins Metal Company in Forest City. Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Belinda Collins.

Survivors include his wife, Kathie Brooks Collins; a sister, Julie Collins of Forest City, two nieces, Annie Cooke Sciortino of Wilmington, NC and Keni Elizabeth Cooke of Jacksonville, NC. Frank also has many loving aunts and uncles as well as cousins and close friends.

A graveside service was conducted in the Cool Springs Cemetery with Reverend David Bradley officiating.
