Constantino Arrieta-Salgado, age 67, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015.
Born December 30, 1947 in Pololcingo, Mexico, he was a son of the late Julian Arrieta and Sinforosa Salgado Arrieta. Constantino worked as a cook for the El Mariachi Restaurant in Largo, Florida for many years and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed listening to Rancheras music and was a fan of Chivas USA soccer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Angela Arrieta.
Survivors include his wife, Jovita Lozano-Arrieta; three daughters, Beatriz Arrieta-Roman and husband, Gerzain of Christiansburg, Virginia, Maria Arrieta-Hernandez and husband, Efrain of Forest City and Alejandra Arrieta of the home; one son, Julio Arrieta and wife, Patricia of Spindale; five brothers, Antonio Arrieta-Salgado of Indiana, Sandalio Arrieta-Salgado and Ismael Arrieta-Salgado both of Mexico, Taurino Arrieta-Salgado and Florencio Arrieta-Salgado both of Georgia; one sister, Claudia Arrieta-Salgado also of Mexico. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jesus, Ana Marie, Gustavo, Francisco, Kaylee, Julia, Estrella and Adrian.
A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Noel Torres and Reverend Deacon Sigfrid Della-Valle officiating. Interment took place in his hometown of Pololcingo, Mexico.
