Joyce Earley Honeycutt, age 74

Joyce Earley Honeycutt, age 74, of Ellenboro, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, September 27, 2015.

Born February 10, 1941 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Roy Martin Earley and Eva Greene Earley. She was a homemaker and also worked in home healthcare. Joyce was a member of Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church. Her passion in life was taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dan, Glenn, Charles and Leon Earley.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Paul Honeycutt; two sons, Joey Dean Honeycutt and wife, Tracy of Henrietta and Keith Honeycutt and wife, April of Ellenboro; one daughter, Paulette Impinna and husband, Frank of Shelby; sister, Joan Conner and husband, Wayne also of Ellenboro; two sister-in-laws, Hazel Earley of Forest City and Alice Earley of Spindale. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and her devoted pet, Peanut.

Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Billy Poe Jones and Rev. Mike Cash officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
