| Chase Trojans Football 2011 County Champions! This past Saturday, October 29th, it was very cold down on the East Rutherford Cavalier football field.
A cold night became the scene for a seemingly one sided game. However, in the second quarter, the Cavaliers became a hot team and almost took the county football championship game away from the dominant Chase Trojans. The Cavaliers finally scored but could not make the extra point and the score was 21-6. Chase was held off at the 4 yard line, but made a field goal to post the score, 24-6. Read More ... | Trojans Claim County Football In 2011 Last Friday’s football game was everything East Rutherford and Chase could have asked for in the end.
Chase owned the game, but East Rutherford rallied late.
However, an incomplete pass off the hands of East’s Griffin Stamey as he jumped for the ball close to the goal line and as time expired sealed the 2011 Rutherford County Championship, 24-20 for the Trojans in 2011.
Chase did everything they wanted to do until the final few minutes of the contest as they put together long methodical drives and kept possession of the ball for 25 of the first 36 minutes. Read More ...

| Outdoor Truths I’m one of those guys who really try to be prepared – really overly prepared. It seems that I’ve done this hunting and fishing thing for so long, that I know it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. And when it comes to deer hunting away from home and in the cold; it is that much more crucial. As a result of my hang-up, my favorite piece of gear is a backpack. I prefer one that is at least 3000 cubic inches and has lots of ways to tie stuff down on the outside as well. It is good for it to be waterproof also.
