57 Alpha Cafe

Over at the 57 Alpha Cafe we caught the popular Ron McKinney’s wife, Regina at the restaurant. To the surprise of Tom Ritchie, the cafe was closed. We found that Ron had been the victim of his plane crash. He currently is in Asheville and may not be able to return to the cafe until 60 days or more. His right leg is broken and he also broke seven ribs. He has bruises all over his body. Regina thanked and still asks everyone for prayers. Ron has been flying since the mid 70’s. A gust of wind caught him as he circled the airport and he crashed in the field just across from his restaurant. The 57 Alpha Cafe is so named because that used to be the call for the airport. The cafe is famous for its’ $100 burger. The reason is that the time you would fuel the plane and fly up to eat at 57 Alpha Cafe it would cost you about $100.
