Addie Ruppe, age 83, of Forest City, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015.
Born September 29, 1931 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Robert Jarvis Ruppe and Annie Keeter Ruppe.
Addie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an avid bowler and coached little league baseball for many years. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and retired from Watts Regulator.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin infant sons, Ronnie and Donnie Ruppe; two sisters, Ruth Hensley, Mary Ruppe; and two brothers, Arthur Ruppe and Bill Ruppe.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Grace Ruppe; son, Terry Ruppe and wife Mary; daughter, Debbie Abrams; grandchildren, Andy Ruppe and wife Mackenzie, Kelly Horton and husband Nick, Megan Metcalf; great-granddaughter, Lydia Ruppe; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Reverend Bob Philbeck officiating. Interment held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
