Adron Newsome, age 94

Adron Newsome, age 94 of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

Adron was born January 8, 1926 in Grethel, KY and was a son of the late T. N. and Ella Newsome. Adron honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Vene Adkins Newsome, as well as his brothers, Avery, Philip, and Floyd Newsome.

Survivors include his son, Adron Michael Newsome and wife Elizabeth of Forest City, two grandsons, two step-grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

The funeral service was held at Hall Funeral Home in Martin, KY. Interment followed in the Newsome Family Cemetery.
