Advance Wellness Center Debuts In Rutherford County

On Saturday, April 12th, another new business made its’ debut in Rutherford County. In addition to creating more jobs, it also offers additional services in the medical field for Rutherford County residents. 

The Advance Wellness Center held a grand opening at a totally remodeled facility, 668 Poors Ford Road in Rutherfordton. The center’s main function is to offer pain management with a custom approach. Each person’s need is analyzed and then a “customized plan is created for their particular need.”

The founder is Dr. Michael Trombley. Dr.Trombley received his bachelor degree from St. Lawrence University in 1987 graduating as Presidential Scholar and Magna Cum Laude. He obtained his medical degree from Rochester University School of Medicine in 1991. He served as Chief Resident while completing his residency from Carolina Medical Center Family Practice. From 1994 to 2007 Dr. Trombley was full time with Cabarrus Family Medicine and associate faculty appointments with Duke University and the University of North Carolina Medical School. He has also served as guest speaker and as a medical consultant. In addition, he is a five star physician on wellness and been the recipient of the Patients Choice Award, given to only 5% of North Carolina physicians. The new facility will also have Nurse Practitioner, Lee Porter who has 25 years of service in her field.

After feeling a need for such a facility, Dr. Trombley decided to open the center in Rutherford County. The mission of Advance Wellness Center is to assist all in Rutherford County and surrounding areas with their pain management needs. The center specializes in traditional and and alternative pain management customized to each individuals needs. Advance Wellness Center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
