Alecia Beam Bogan, 55

Alecia Beam Bogan, 55, of Boiling Springs, SC, formerly of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Ervin and Mary McDaniel Beam. She was a retired private investigator.

She is survived by her son, Tony A. Horton of Boiling Springs, SC; brother Sherman Beam of Rutherfordton; half brother, Eddie Ellis of Rutherfordton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Ellis.

Funeral services were held at Westminster Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
