Alice Faye Weathers, age 59

Alice Faye Weathers, age 59, of Forest City, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013. 

A native of Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Darice Edmund Ervin and Faye Hamrick Davis. She was a finance company manager and a member of Floyd’s Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Larry Dean Ledford and wife Kim of Ellenboro; grandson, Justin Dean Ledford of Ellenboro; sister, Laura Lee Conner of Ellenboro; and dear friend, Nancy Hoyle of Ellenboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Dean Ira Davis.
