Alice "Nell" Jones Goforth, 86

Alice "Nell" Jones Goforth, 86, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Alma Huntley Jones. She was a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lisa Morrison and husband Kenny of Rutherfordton; one granddaughter, two great granddaughters; one niece and three nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dwight L. Goforth and brother Norman Jones.

Graveside services were held at Adaville Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Jonathon Cobb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adaville Baptist Church Building Fund, 805 Oakland Road, Spindale, NC 28160.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
