Alleree Lowery, age 89, of Mooresboro, NC, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012.
Alleree was born on June 21, 1922 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Fred Jolley and Sarah Hames Jolley. She worked in textiles for many years and enjoyed flowers, gardening, craftwork and sewing. She was a faithful member of her church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lowery; two sisters, Jeanette McCutcheon and Frances McCutcheon; one brother, Eddie Jolley and step-son, Donald Lowery.
Survivors include two sisters, Sarah Willis of Chesnee, SC and Jerleen Lowery of Duncan, SC; two grandchildren, Lennie Lowery and wife Amy and Tammy Cox and husband, Dean; four great-grandchildren & one great-great grandchild, Saydie Pruett.
Funeral services were conducted at the Fairview Missionary Methodist Church with Reverend Dean Cox and Reverend Troy Dorsey officiating.
