Amy Lovelace Lee, age 42

Amy Lovelace Lee, age 42, of Harris, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013.

     Amy was born February 22, 1971 in Rutherford County to the late Jewell Lovelace and Ann Gaultney Lovelace who resides in Harris. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1989 and a graduate of Isothermal Community College.  Amy was a hairstylist for over twenty years and worked for Cuttin Up on Mane Street in Rutherfordton and a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. She enjoyed bargain hunting and loved to sing.  Amy was a person who always cared for the needs of others. 

     In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Mae Gaultney and one grandson, Clayton Hamrick. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jeff Lee; one son, Shane Hamrick, Jr.; two daughters, Dalen Roberson and Olivia Roberson all of Harris; two step-daughters, Jill Lee of Spindale and Paige Lee of Harris; one step-son, Austin Lee of Charlotte; one brother, Darrin Lovelace of Spartanburg, SC and one sister, Kelly Lovelace Dedmon of Forest City.  She is also survived by grandparents, Frank and Wanell Buff of Shelby; one grandson, Joshuwa Hamrick and two step-grandchildren, Karley Lee and Kiley Arrowood.

     Funeral services were conducted at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Steven Cooper & Reverend George Whitmire officiating. Interment followed in Harris First Baptist Church Cemetery.
