Anita "Lynn" Sims, age 57

Anita "Lynn" Sims, age 57, of Forest City, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018.

Born October 24, 1960 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Marlowe and Lonie Hutchins Marlowe. Lynn worked as a CNA for many years at White Oak Manor in Rutherfordton and was a faithful member of Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church. She was active in the church music ministry and enjoyed southern gospel music. She was a dedicated wife, nana, sister, aunt and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of forty years, Reverend Roger Sims; one granddaughter; sister, Pam Watt of Forest City; brother, Marvin "Bucky" Marlowe and wife, Lori of Spindale and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor Lynn's life was conducted at Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church.
