Annie "Lou" Hodge, age 81

Annie "Lou" Hodge, age 81, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

Lou was born June 30, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Thomas Lee Ramsey and Idella Wood Ramsey. She received her Associates Degree from Isothermal Community College and worked at ICC as a receptionist for many years before retirement. Lou was a former member of Westside Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly and provided childcare for many of her nieces and nephews during their growing up years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years, Bobby Hodge; two brothers, Ben and Roy Ramsey and five sisters, Lena Smith, Irene Hutchins, Katherine Hutchins, Mary Beheler and Hazel Lowery.

Those left to treasure her memory include her son, Tommy Hodge and wife, Sharon of Ellenboro; sister, Lois Payne of Mooresboro; a grandson, and a great-grandchild.

A funeral service was conducted the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
