Annie Mae Phillips Hutchins, age 85

Annie Mae Phillips Hutchins, age 85 passed away Saturday March 24, 2018.

A native of Rutherford County she is the daughter of the late Armel and Winnie Tipton Phillips and widow of William Dennis Hutchins, Sr.

Mrs. Hutchins was a graduate of the Rutherford Hospital School of Nursing and worked at Rutherford Hospital, Rutherford OB/GYN and White Oak Manor. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons; Bill Hutchins and his wife Ann of Bostic, Joe Hutchins and his wife Robin of Boiling Springs, SC, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rutherfordton. Rev. Mike Haire officiated. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pisgah United Methodist Ch; C/O Marsha Baker 3621 Pearidge Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
