Annie Ruth Bland Taylor, 86

Annie Ruth Bland Taylor, 86, of New Bern, NC, passed away February 17, 2016.

Born to Shade and Vula Bland, October, 1929, Ruth was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa West, and four brothers, Shade Bland, G.S. "Pug" Bland, Wesley Bland, and Rodman "Boot" Bland. She is survived by her brother, Pete Bland and wife, Jean. She has three surviving daughters, Diane Dennis, of New Bern, NC, Ronda Eaker and husband, David, of Forest City, NC and Wanda Craft and husband, Donnie, of Richmond, VA., seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed her many years of service in the Craven County Tax Office and as a weekend hostess at The Berne Restaurant.

A memorial service was held at a later date in New Burn, NC.
