Annual fall litter sweep starts today

The annual Community wide litter sweep/fall hosted by Keep Rutherford County Beautiful will be observed beginning today, October 10 and continue through October 13.

This is the second trash pick up of the year and everyone is invited to participate.

There is a goal to have 200 people removing tons of trash from road sides, parks, trails, businesses and parking lots. All supplies will be provided.

Join a team or sign up for a day now. Simply select a day to volunteer or join an established team by following the steps listed on the link.

Heavy duty NCDOT trash/recycle bags and safety vests will be provided to pre-registered participants.

Keep Rutherford County Beautiful was formed by Rutherford County Commissioners with a mission to clean up street, education youth and implement policy changes. The organized is volunteer based.
