    Despite a tough economy, the people of Rutherford County continued to help out their own during the holidays. Thanks to all who donated to our annual toy drive.

    Rosendin Electric was also busy this season making a list and checking it twice. The company collected, and with the help of Bob and Barbara Booker, delivered two truckloads of toys to our office. Rosendin Electric is the electric contractor on the Facebook project here in the county.

Rutherford County Beekeepers’ Club
Announces its 2012 School. The school will meet from 8:30am-12pm for five Saturdays, beginning January 21 and ending February 18, 2012 at the Rutherford County Annex, Rutherfordton, NC. Cost to attend is $25 per person and $40 per two family members. Registration will be limited to 35 persons. Send check made payable to Rutherford County Beekeepers Club and to: A. M. Price, 278 Pleasant Street, Spindale, N.C. 28160 by January 14, 2012.
