Third Time, Same Result In R-S Central-East Rutherford Contest
East Rutherford and R-S Central met for a third time on the court this season in boys play. Central, who has continued its up and down season seemed to be on pace in knocking off East Rutherford. Central led most of the first half, but a 22-0 run by East midway through the contest allowed the Cavs to pick up a 77-66 win at home.

With the win, East Rutherford’s boys move to 16-2 overall, 6-1 in conference as they hold the number one 2A playoff seed in the SMAC with five games left. Currently, the Hilltoppers hold the number three 3A seed out of the SMAC for the playoffs

Outdoor Truths

Outdoor Truths
Several years ago, it was not unusual to make one or two trips per week to wade the Cherokee Lake. Late winter always proved to hold enough of the bass variety to keep me fishing even in the most extreme conditions.
