It may be a shade early to talk about basketball, but there is some interesting topics to touch on and all of it concerns East Rutherford.

The Cavs leading scorer, rebounder and most tenacious kid of a year ago, Devonte Boykins may be sidelined for the whole basketball season with an ACL injury.

After ACL surgery not too long ago, Boykins could possibly be back in time late February or early March. Listen To Life

Is your light on?

Do you remember the first jigsaw puzzle you tried to put together?  You probably sat down with a parent or older sibling or maybe even a grandparent and stared at all of those pieces.  You wondered to yourself, “How in the world are we going to get all of these tiny pieces to fit together and make that picture?”

I mean, the task seemed impossible, didn’t it?

Outdoor Truths
Outdoor Truths

From the scenery to maneuvering through rapid water, fishing in the river demands some thought, coordination, and planning, along with the smallmouth that I come to expect. And it also provides a different experience whether one is fishing in a boat or a kayak.

Last week, I met two friends at the river with our kayaks. Now these kayaks are the fishing kind. They have rod holders, places for fishing gear, and they are made to sit on top of and not down in. They are really nimble and easy to maneuver.
