Jack T. Ross, age 84, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019.

Joann Hill Goodrick, 82, of Florida, passed away on April 23, 2019.

Larry Joe Padgett, age 67, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019.

Mary Elizabeth McKinney McMahon Taylor, age 68 of Forest City passed away Friday, April 26, 2019.

Preston Dee Guffey 82 of Union Mills passed away on April 30, 2019.

Sharon Matheson Rector, age 61 of Spindale, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019.

William "Bill" Lester Lanser, age 69, of York, SC, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019.

In the past few weeks I've traveled to Texas and Missouri to talk to the turkeys and to hang around friends. It seems, this year, I've mostly been more interested in the friend part than the turkey part
