Arthur Cleve Miller age 90

Arthur Cleve Miller age 90 of Rutherfordton, passed away on November 9, 2018.

Arthur was the son of the late Arthur James Miller and Florence Meadows Miller. In addition to his parents Arthur was preceded in death by his wife Johnsie Lee Honeycutt Miller.

Arthur served in the United States Air Force, occupied Japan, was attached to the embassy in London, England and was instrumental in implementing computer technology to help aid in Air Force Intelligence. During his time in the Air Force, he received a Bronze OLC along with other decorations and medals. Arthur later retired as a Master Sergeant after 21 years of service.

Left to cherish his memory are his son David Miller of Union Mills; Son Wayne (Debra) of Bostic; Daughter Linda Pennington (Ernie) of Mooresboro; Son Tim Miller (Linda) of Forest City; Sister Effie Edward of Burlington; five grandchildren and six grandchildren.

Services were held at Camp Creek Baptist Church, Union Mills. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard. C/O Rutherford County Veterans Council, 303 Fairground Road, Spindale NC 28160.
