Arthur “Thomas” Daniel

Arthur “Thomas” Daniel passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2014. 

Thomas was born on July 5, 1939 in Rutherford County. Thomas was committed to his family & never met a stranger. He spent the past 25 years greeting those at Adaville Baptist Church in rain, shine, sleet or snow & he was a dedicated member. In addition, Thomas loved spending time at the Foundation where he proudly sported his Red Bow Tie while helping others. 

He is survived by his wife, of more than 50 years, Barbara Grayson Daniel & their 2 sons. Robbie Daniel, his wife Tammy, & Sarah his grand-daughter of Rutherfordton. Jonathan Daniel & his wife Malinda of Marvin. Brother Michael Daniel & sister Marilyn Steele both of Forest City. In addition, Thomas is survived by numerous nieces, nephews & all the countless friends he greeted throughout the years whenever he was out and about. 

Funeral services were held at Adaville Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Whitlow officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043.
