Aubrey “Ozzie” Street, 68

Aubrey “Ozzie” Street, 68, of Bostic, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013. 

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Chivous and Mirth Quinton Street. He was a US Army veteran and retired from PPG as an electrician with 38 years of service. He was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ann Lammonds Street of the home; sons Darren Street of Rutherfordton and Gerald Hansley of Bostic; daughters, Terri Jolly of Blacksburg, SC, Dayna West of Bostic, Kim Freeman of Forest City, Angie Crawford of Union Mills; brother Leon Street of Bostic; fourteen grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Junior Hansley and brother Charles Street.

Funeral services were held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Philbeck officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with military honors accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
