Augustus Hoyle Causby, age 88

Augustus Hoyle Causby, age 88, passed away August 25, 2018.

He was born November 28, 1929, in Rutherford County; he was the son of the late Joe Hoyle Causby and Lola Lail Causby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Barbara Weatherford, Kenneth Hoyle Causby; and two sisters, Genell Newton Dodson and Katie Collins.

Augustus was a member of Walls Baptist Church and the owner/operator of Causby Used Cars and Rollback Service.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 71 years, Joyce Marie Dodson Causby; three children, Diane Williams, Jerry Dean Causby and wife Virginia, Michael Wayne Causby and wife Anita. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

A funeral service was conducted at Walls Baptist Church in Bostic. Interment followed the service in the church cemetery.
