Barbara Kiser Sisk, 76

Barbara Kiser Sisk, 76, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Jay "Strawberry" Kiser and Ruby Huntley Kiser. Barbara retired as a dispatcher for the Forest City Police Department after many years of service.

Survivors include her son, David Sisk and wife Jenny of Rutherfordton, NC and two granddaughters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Sisk.

A memorial service was held in the Padgett and King Chapel. Interment followed in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
