Bennette Bagwell, age 64

Bennette Bagwell, age 64, of Forest City, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019.

Bennette was born March 25, 1955 in Rockingham, NC to the late Louise Hildreth Baynard. He was a self-employed tile and carpet installer for many years and a master carpenter. Bennette enjoyed fishing, was an avid Washington Redskins fan and a NASCAR enthusiast.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Wayne Short and a sister, Barbara Rowe.

Those left to cherish his memory include two brothers, Roger Short and Tim Wood; four nieces, six nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
