Betty Banks Lammonds, age 56

Betty Banks Lammonds, age 56, of Bostic, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014.

Born January 5, 1958 in Craven County, NC, she was a daughter to the late Albert Banks and Hazel Jones Banks.  She was a graduate of Jones Central High School in Trenton, NC, class of 1977 and worked in textiles most of her life.  She was of the Baptist Faith.  Betty loved going to the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Reed Lammonds.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Elaine Banks of Bostic and Jessica Lammonds of Forest City; two sisters, Abbie Heath and husband, Gerald of Maysville, NC and Wanda King and husband, Lannie of Pollocksville, NC; three grandchildren, Jordan Clay Ferguson, Jacye Grace Lammonds and Genesis Hope Lammonds; three aunts, Juanita Meadows of New Bern, NC, Kathleen Jordan of Maysville, Doris Riggs of Pollocksville and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted in Maysville on a later date.
