Betty Ellen Ford Clements, 82

Betty Ellen Ford Clements, 82, of Spindale, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013. 

A native of Rutherford County, Betty was the daughter of the late Augustus George and Elizabeth Sisk Ford. Dedicated to her family, Mrs. Clements was an accomplished homemaker and an avid gardener. She was a caring person whose last act was assisting one of her friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kaye Clements White and husband Grant of Waxhaw, NC; granddaughter Holly LiVolsi and husband Rich of Unionville, NC; great grandchildren Joseph LiVolsi and Dominic LiVolsi of Unionville, NC.; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Madge Clements; daughter Faye Clements; sisters Mildred Ruppe, Evelyn Smith, Dorothy Crowder and brother Gene Ford.

Funeral services were held at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Larry Ford officiating. Interment followed in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
