Betty Frances Bridges

Betty Frances Bridges born on June 28,1934 and passed away on July 16, 2016. Surrounded by her loving family, she left this world to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ after a brief illness.

Betty retired from the snack shop in Boiling Springs in 1996. Everyone she came in contact with called her "Miss Betty". She was a very religious lady that loved God and John 3:16 was one of her favorite verses to encourage others.

She is predeceased by her mother, Sadie Beason Neal; father, Esley Winburn Bridges; brothers, Michael (Mickey) Bridges and Jerry Bridges.

She is survived by her son, Allen Emory of Cliffside; daughter, Robyn Davis of Fallston; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, James Neal of Shelby; sister, Alice Kerr of Charlotte; sister-in-law, Peggy Bridges of Forest City and her very special cousin, Barbara Sue Lovelace of Shelby.

Service was held at Calvary Baptist Church, 1509 Ferry Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114 with Pastor Tim Frashier officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in memory of "Miss Betty".

Services are entrusted to Robert S. Morgan, Jr., Funeral Service Licensee, LLC.
