Betty Hames Harrill, age 93

Betty Hames Harrill, age 93, of Forest City passed away on December 20, 2018.

She was born October 18, 1925 to the late Gilbert Holland Hames, Sr. and Margaret Kiser Hames. Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church of Forest City. She was a graduate of Unicoi County High School, Erwin, TN and Johnson City Business College, Johnson City, TN.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Bostic Harrill, as well as her sisters, Mary Sue Hames, Mozelle Hames Smith and Jeanne Hames Cash. Survivors include daughter, Elizabeth Harrill Cheshire and husband Daryl of Forest City, a grandson, two granddaughters, six great-grandchildren, a brother, Gilbert Holland Hames, Jr. of Charleston, SC, and sister, Billie Hames Robinette of Japer, Georgia.

The Funeral service was held at First United Methodist Church of Forest City. Interment was held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
