Betty Jane Humphries McCraw, 80

Betty Jane Humphries McCraw, 80, of Mooresboro, passed away on Saturday, February 09, 2013. 

A native of Rutherford County, she was born on October 20, 1932, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Lillie Ree Jolley Humphries. She formerly worked for Peeler Rugs and for Hamricks. She was a faithful member of Prospect Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and WMU Director.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Guy McCraw. She is survived by her sons, Mitchell McCraw and wife Rhonda of Forest City, Dale McCraw and wife Pam and Steve McCraw and wife Tina, all of Mooresboro; one brothers, Allen Humphries of Lenoir; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernie Cole officiating. Burial followed at Cleveland Memorial Park.
