Betty Jean Ruppe Mathews age 74, passed away on March 24, 2017.
Betty was the daughter of the late Charles Yates Ruppe and Lyndall Cotton Hopkins. Left to cherish her memory are her husband William Mathews; children William Mathews Jr, Sharon Fox (Ryan), and Karen Roberts (Larry); four grandchildren; one great grandchild; Brother Cecil Yates Ruppe; sister Brenda Byrd; In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her sister Donna Ruppe Lavarello.
A graveside service was held at Eternal Hills. Donations may be made to Hospice P.O. box 336 Forest City NC 28046.
Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
