Betty Lou Lange, age 69

     Betty Lou Lange, age 69, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015.

     Born on January 5, 1946 in Pontiac, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Burt Ancel and Genevieve Powell Ancel. Betty worked as a department manager for Wal-Mart for over thirteen years and was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church. She was known as a caring, compassionate and selfless lady. During her battle with cancer, she always put everyone’s needs before her own and wanted to make sure that her loved ones would be okay after her passing.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Curt Lange and one brother, Ron Hubble.

     Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years, Michael Lange; son, Michael Lange, Jr of Taylors, SC; sister, Judy Boroff and husband, Bob of Greer, SC; two brothers, Richard Irwin and wife, Cheryl and John Hubble and wife, Mary all of Kissimmee, Florida. She is also survived by granddaughter, Janica Lange; grandson, Ashton Lange and great-grandchild, Sawyer Lange.

     The family has requested that no public services be conducted.
