Betty Sanders Morehead, 88

Betty Sanders Morehead, 88, of Spindale, passed away October 4, 2018. A native of Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest (step father) and Mary Lucy Justice, and loving wife of her late husband Roy W. Morehead. Betty was a retired employee of Wachovia Bank and a member of Saint Francis Episcopal Church of Rutherfordton. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, friend, and an excellent cook and baker. She loved to travel. Left to cherish her memory is her brother and sister in law, Steve and Linda Justice of Shelby, two nieces that (were the daughters she always wanted but never had), Marnie Justice Beaver and Amy Justice Anderson of Forest City, and many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. A Memorial Service was held at Saint Francis Episcopal Church in Rutherfordton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Francis Episcopal Church 408 N. Main Street, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. Crowe's Mortuary is serving the family.
