Billy David "Bill" Robbins, 89

Billy David "Bill" Robbins, 89, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016.

A native of Rutherford County, Bill was the son of the late Lemuel Madison and Mattie Irene Miller Robbins. He was a retired textile machine operator and a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Pearl McGuinn Robbins of the home; daughter Brenda Robbins Wilson and husband Ronnie, of Rutherfordton; one grandson, one granddaughter; three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Wilkins officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, 221 Sulphur Springs Church Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
