Billy Herman Lovelace, age 81

Billy Herman Lovelace, age 81, of Spindale, passed away on September 19, 2019.

Bill was the son of the late Harvey Godfrey and Virginia Laughter Lovelace Blanton. Bill served in the United States Navy as a Medical Corpsman, and later retired from Duke Energy in the water treatment division. Bill enjoyed flying his Ercoupe, driving his 51 Ford, and riding his motorcycle. He also loved traveling and spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Peggy Keller Lovelace; son David Lovelace; son William Lovelace and wife Jan; daughter Lori Hankinson and husband Kenneth; daughter Lisa Adkins and husband Chris; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Boone.

Services were held at Spencer Baptist Church. Burial was held at Eternal Hills Cemetery with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
