Billy Lee Melton, 70

Billy Lee Melton, 70, of Forest City, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013.

A native of Cleveland County, he was born on July 04, 1942, a son of the late Claude Lee and Macie Humphries Melton. He retired from J.C. Cowan and was a member of Chase Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Melton and Frank Melton. He is survived by his sisters, Carrie Melton, Shirley Hutchins, and Cathy Morrow, all of Forest City.

A graveside service was held at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Butler officiating.
