Blessing bags for officers

Campers with Camp Promise of First United Methodist in Forest City recently packed blessing bags for law enforcement officers at the Forest City Police Department and Rutherford County Sheriff's Department. Each bag held various treats as well as a hand-written note to the officer to thank them for their service and dedication. The church decided to provide the bags because several members are in law enforcement. Camp Promise is for rising kindergarten through sixth grade students.
