Bobbie Dean Micthell Jones, 77

Bobbie Dean Micthell Jones, 77, of Henrietta, passed away on Saturday, March 01, 2014.

A native of Rutherford County, she was born on January 10, 1937, a daughter of the late James Robert and Pansy Buckner Mitchell. She retired from Cone Mills Corporation, Cliffside Plant and worked as a CNA at Oakland Living Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Henrietta.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth John Jones; four sisters, Thelma Conner, Bessie Harris, Ruth Smart, and Naomi Splawn. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Wayne Jones of Henrietta; one daughter, Anita McCraw of Greenwood, SC; one sister, Pearl Anthony of Rutherfordton; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Mrs. Jones’s Life was held at First Baptist Church of Henrietta with the Rev. John Godfrey and Rev. Wesley Smith officiating. Burial followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
