Bobby Ray Melton, 71, of Bostic, NC passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2010. Services were held at Corinth Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Melton was preceded in death by his parents, George Myron Melton and Viola Ledford Melton; one son, Travis Don Melton and a sister, Betty Brooks.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Willie Faye Melton; two sons, Phillip Melton of Forest City and Gerald Melton of Ellenboro; one daughter, Dianna Melton and husband, Tony of Forest City; two brothers, Kenneth Melton and wife, Frances of Ellenboro and Ronnie Melton and wife, Becky, of Clearwater, FL; two sisters, Joyce Lowery and husband, Joe, of Henrietta and Cindy Propst and husband, David, of Ellenboro; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Harrelson Funeral Home is serving the family.
