Bobby Thomas Goode, 79

Bobby Thomas Goode, 79, of College Farm Road, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. 

A native of Cleveland County, he was born on Jan.28, 1934, a son of the late Donald Goode and Johnnie Lee Beason Callahan of Mooresboro. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Mooresboro.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Quita Bailey Goode; his brothers, Bobby, Bill, John and Joe Callahan; and one sister, Catherine McSwain.

He is survived by his second wife, Sybil Pruitt Goode; one son, Johnny Goode and wife Patty of Laurens, S.C.; one daughter, Renee Linnens and husband Stephen of Shelby; one step-son, Kenny and Happy Crowe of Spartanburg, S.C.; one sister, Nancy Steen and husband the Rev. Bobby Steen of Mooresboro; his grandchildren, Duane Linnens and wife Candice, Hunter Linnens and wife Heather, Donnie Goode, Bailey Goode, Ridge Howell, Kayce Crowe, Koby Crowe, and Conner Crowe; and ten great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Service was held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel. Officiating: The Revs. Bobby Gettys and Bobby Steen Internment: A private family interment will be held at a later date.
