Bonnie McAbee Ledford age 90

Bonnie McAbee Ledford age 90 of Forest City passed away Friday February 22, 2013.  

She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Bertha McAbee.   In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Roy of 65 years, her oldest son Steve, brothers Daniel, Luther, and Floyd, sisters Felmer and Elsie.  

She is survived by son Michael Ledford of the home, son Phillip and wife Sandra of Forest City, daughter Peggy West of Rutherfordton, and daughter Darlene and husband Wayne White of Shingle Hollow.  

Bonnie had a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren. Bonnie enjoyed reading, flowers, and crossword puzzles.  

 Funeral services were held at Crowe’s Mortuary with the Reverend Wayne Toney, and Reverend Don Hollifield officiating.

 Burial followed at Eternal Hills Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County.

     Crowes Mortuary is serving the family.
