Boyce E. Ware age 84

Boyce E. Ware age 84 passed away Friday May 13, 2016.

A native of Rutherford County, NC; Boyce was a former employee of Stonecutter Mills having worked there some 50 years. He also is a former employee of Four Leaf Textiles. A veteran of the U.S. Army Boyce served his country during the Korean War where he served as a combat medic. He was a lifelong member of Spindale Church of The Brethren where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years Pat Ross Ware of the home, one son Michael Ware and his wife Kathleen of Forest City, NC; one daughter Rhonda Ware Cromer and her husband Robert of Mooresboro, NC; two granddaughters; four great grandchildren. Boyce is also survived by one brother Albert Ware and his wife Lois of Martinsville, VA as well as a number of other relatives and friends.

Boyce was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Daisy West Ware as well as three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held at Spindale Church of the Brethren with Rev. Russell Payne officiating. Concluding services were held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with military honors provided by The Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spindale Church of The Brethren 129 Sterling Street Spindale, NC 28160.
