Boyce Wishion, age 76

Boyce Wishion, age 76, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021.

Boyce was born Thursday, November 2, 1944 in Rutherford County to the late Norrie Wishion and Minnie Belle Laughters Wishion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Angela Stacey and Betty Jane Wishion; sons, Gary Shehan and Robert Waters; brother, Frank Wishion and sister, Maudie Waters.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of twenty-four years, Elizabeth Wishion; children, Raymond Waters (Denise) of Ellenboro, Boyce Wishion (Angie) of Forest City, Gail McDaniel (Joey) of Rhodhiss, NC, Crystal Lahrmer of Forest City, Tommy Wishion (Dawn) of Ellenboro, Randy Tesseneer of Ellenboro, Mary Tesseneer of Forest City; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at Plainview Baptist Church.

Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
