Breakfast with Santa

The Chase High School Marching Band held a Breakfast with Santa event on Dec. 3 to raise money for their upcoming trip, which will either be to the presidential inauguration or another trip. More than 200 people took part in the pancake breakfast, which raised almost $1,400 for the band. Wesley Mayse helped the band by serving orange juice. Tyler Ford and Kim Dunn poured pancake batter on the griddles. Santa greeted children and posed for pictures. Kali Shifflett, Cooper Mayse, Brantley Bumgarner, Owen Messina, Wesley Mayse and Isabel Battle posed with Santa (Gene Blanton) for a photo for their families.
