Brenda Davis, age 70

Brenda Davis, age 70, of Bostic, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019.

Brenda was born October 6, 1948 in Rutherford County to the late William "Howard" Hawkins and Lola Mae Pitchford Hawkins. She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church and enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, reading and puzzles. Brenda was an honest person who was never afraid to speak her mind. She loved her family dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Melissa Ann Davis and a sister, Lynda Huskey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of fifty years, Ray Davis; two daughters, Pennie Fisher (Kyle) of Ellenboro and Rhonda Thompson (Danny) of Ellenboro; sister, Wanda Rector of Dobbinsville; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Bald Mountain Cemetery.
