Brenda Suttle McEntyre, age 70

Brenda Suttle McEntyre, age 70, of Rutherfordton, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018.

Born March 3, 1948 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late William "Sut" Suttle, Sr. and Martha Wallace Suttle. She was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1966 and worked as an executive secretary for Fairfield Resort for many years. Brenda also was a beautician and worked for International Enzyme Corporation for several years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, fishing, swimming and traveling. Brenda was a member of Sandy Mush Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelly Hollifield and a grandson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband and caretaker, Don McEntyre; two brothers, Bill Suttle and wife, Pat of Rutherfordton and Don Weeks and wife, Joyce Ann of Boiling Springs, SC. She is also survived by two nephews, Brannon and Robby Suttle.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Rev Bob Philbeck officiated. Interment followed in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
