Bronson Blake "Jim" Panther, age 83 of Spindale, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017.

Jim was a native of Cleveland County, retired from Spindale Mills, a member of Midway Baptist Church and a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Lincie Howard Panther and his wives Evelyn and Gertrude Panther.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Darlene Smith and her husband Arthur of Spindale, a brother Martin Panther Jr. of Spartanburg, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Peter McDonald officiating.

Crowe's Mortuary & Crematory is assisting the family.
